Say hello

No form, no funnel, no “book a discovery call”. Just an email address, read by the person whose name is at the top of the page.

Make it easy

What to put in the first email

  • What the business needs by the end of the quarter. The outcome, not the deliverable
  • Who it is for, in your own words, however unscientific those words are
  • What you have already tried, and what happened
  • Timing and a rough budget, so neither of us wastes the other’s week

None of it has to be tidy. A voice-note’s worth of thinking, typed out badly, is plenty to start with.

Also welcome

Things that are not briefs

  • Somebody telling me I got something wrong in a post, ideally with reasons
  • A trend you think is real and I suspect is a media invention
  • A deck that keeps not getting a yes
  • Speaking, panels, guest writing and the occasional good argument

Accepting feedback, criticism, and engaging conversations. That line has been on this site since the first version and it was never decorative.
